Chapter Philanthropy

Phi Mu supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) as our National Philanthropy. Phi Mu is the only sorority to be a corporate sponsor of CMNH. Supporting 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals nationwide, Phi Mu has raised over $10 million since 1986, improving the quality of life for children everywhere. At 2020's Casino Night we raised $17,000 FTK!!!

Locally, Phi Mu will support the Children's Specialized Hospital. Members of Phi Mu will have the opportunity to visit the Children's Hospital to spend time with the patients and participate in numerous philanthropic events throughout the school year to raise money and spread awareness for CMNH. Our major philanthropy event is our Casino Night, held in the fall semester. 

Additionally, Phi Mu sisters participate in the philanthropic events of other Greek organizations, as well as community service events in the New Jersey area. A large annual event on campus is Rutgers Dance Marathon, which has raised over $4.2 million since its start in 1999.
